"The Kenmure mansion was built as a mountain retreat in 1850 by a Charlestonian aristocrat named Mitchell King. It has since been renovated and expanded with historical preservation in mind to include the golf shop, men's and women's locker rooms, two dining areas, a library and reading room, offices, banquet rooms, and a covered patio with an adjacent waterfall. Perched stately on a hillside, the mansion provides sweeping views overlooking the golf course and surrounding mountains. An ideal venue for a wedding, special occasion or simply a relaxing moment on the veranda."
